Samurai were always in the situations of Life and Death. Therefore, their armors were not only to protect their lives but to indicate how to live.

The living of Samurai were simple however, there were lot more beautiful ornaments compare to the ones in battle field. In general, Japanese people have a fine sensibility to feel the change of the four seasons. Many of the ornaments express the change of the four seasons as well.

We will introduce the art piece of Iwakuni-art-museum which represent four seasons.
